Here are some key points about Spiritual Counseling & Reiki:

Spiritual Counseling & Reiki are not meant to replace medical treatments, but to complement them.

They cannot cure or treat medical conditions alone, but they may help to reduce pain and anxiety and promote relaxation during the conventional treatment process.

It's important to keep in mind that in cases of acute medical conditions or life-threatening situations, immediate medical intervention is necessary.

Spiritual Counseling & Reiki should never be used as a replacement for professional medical care. The same applies to mental health conditions as well.

If you're experiencing undiagnosed mental health issues, it's important to seek help from a mental health practitioner before considering complementary spiritual counseling or holistic healing practices, such as Reiki.

These practices are not an alternative to conventional medical care. If you require medical attention, always seek appropriate medical treatment and follow the advice of healthcare professionals.

All client information provided during spiritual counseling sessions is legally confidential, except in certain situations that will be identified by the provider if they arise during counseling sessions. Situations where exceptions may apply include:

- If a client presents a serious risk of suicide or threatens to harm any person, animal, or property.
- Mandated Reporting: If a client intends to harm, molest, maltreat, neglect, or abuse a child, elder, handicapped, or vulnerable adult, spiritual counselors/clergy are required by this Code and often by law to report such matters to the proper authorities. This supersedes ecclesiastical privilege.
- If the Spiritual Counseling Practitioner is directed by a court order or by law to disclose the client's confidential information.
